About TickerStat

TickerStat brings company financial statements, stock charts, screening tools, and investor discussions together in one place. It is built for people who want to explore a company’s performance and compare its results over time.

Our aim is to make public financial information easier to read and investigate. Questions, feedback, and corrections can be sent directly to the TickerStat team through our contact page.

Where our data comes from

U.S. company financials primarily come from official SEC EDGAR filings and structured XBRL data. European coverage uses official filing repositories and exchange sources, including ESEF reporting packages where available. Coverage and historical depth vary by company and market.

Charts and market prices use third-party market-data sources that vary by listing and chart. These sources are separate from company filings. Quotes may be delayed or cached and should not be treated as execution prices.

How we prepare financials

• Reporting periods: Annual and quarterly results follow the company’s fiscal calendar. A fiscal year may differ from a calendar year.
• Quarterly figures: Where filings report cumulative cash flows or other year-to-date results, individual quarters are calculated only when the required matching periods are available. Fourth-quarter flow figures may be calculated from the full year less the first three quarters.
• Comparable labels: We map supported filing concepts to consistent statement labels. Accounting standards and company reporting practices can still differ.
• Currency and units: Read the currency and unit labels shown with each table or metric. Financial statements preserve the reporting currency; share prices may use a different trading currency. Where a view converts values, use its displayed currency.
• Missing values: Unavailable or unsupported values are left blank or marked unavailable. A missing value does not mean zero.

Calculated metrics

Some metrics are calculated from reported values rather than quoted directly from a filing. For example, free cash flow generally uses operating cash flow less capital expenditure, and profit margins divide the relevant profit figure by revenue. Metric history pages explain the specific measure and its limitations.

Ratios depend on the reporting period, share basis, available inputs, and price timestamp. Values can differ from other websites that use different definitions or update times. Ratios with missing or unsuitable inputs may be unavailable.

Updates and corrections

Financial data is refreshed in batches, rather than continuously as each filing arrives. New snapshots are validated before replacing the previous dataset. Restatements and later filings may change historical values. Some historical periods may include reviewed backfills from official reports.

Market prices, financial statements, and AI overviews update separately. A recent price does not mean every part of a company page has been refreshed. Check the dates and periods shown, and consult the original filing for a decision that depends on a specific figure.

AI overviews and community content

AI overviews are generated summaries that combine financial context with researched information. AI-generated content is reviewed by TickerStat editors. These summaries can contain mistakes, miss context, or become outdated. Check their dates and linked sources; they are not personalized investment recommendations.
