Terms & Community Rules

The ground rules for using TickerStat and taking part in our community.

Last updated: September 7, 2026.

Using TickerStat

These terms apply to your use of TickerStat’s research tools and community. When you register, you must accept these Terms & Community Rules. Use the site lawfully and respect the rights of other people.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity you authorize through it. Do not impersonate someone else, share credentials to evade restrictions, or create accounts to manipulate discussions or votes.

Research and education

TickerStat provides information for research and education. Financial statements, charts, metrics, AI overviews, and community posts are not personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or an offer to buy or sell a security.

Investments can lose value. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are responsible for your decisions and should verify information against original filings and other appropriate sources.

Data and service limitations

We work to present useful information, but do not guarantee that every figure or statement is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your purpose. Quotes can be delayed, financials can be revised, and AI-generated text can be incorrect. The service may be interrupted or features may change.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TickerStat is not responsible for investment losses or other losses arising from reliance on site information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

See About & Methodology for how we prepare the data.

Community rules

  • Discuss ideas respectfully. Criticism of an investment thesis is welcome. Harassment, threats, hate speech, and sharing someone’s private information are not.
  • Support your claims. Distinguish facts from opinions and forecasts. Link to sources for material claims and correct mistakes when you find them. Do not fabricate evidence or knowingly spread false information.
  • Disclose conflicts. When promoting or analyzing a security, disclose relevant positions, compensation, sponsorships, or relationships that could influence your post.
  • No manipulation or scams. Do not coordinate pump-and-dump activity, manipulate votes, impersonate issuers, solicit credentials, or promise guaranteed returns.
  • Keep contributions relevant. No spam, repetitive promotion, unsolicited advertising, or flooding discussions with low-quality automated content. You remain responsible for anything you post using AI.
  • Respect ownership and confidentiality. Share only material you have permission or a lawful right to share. Do not upload stolen content, confidential information, or unlawful material.

Individual communities may have additional rules consistent with these site-wide rules.

Your contributions

You retain ownership of your original contributions. By posting, you give TickerStat permission to store, display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate the site and its community. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that permission.

Posts, comments, and public profile information can be read and shared by others. Do not include information you intend to keep private. Account deletion is available in Settings. When you confirm deletion, we remove your account, sign-in credentials, active sessions, profile, and uploaded images. We clear the titles and text of your posts and the text of your comments, mark them as deleted, and remove their attribution to your account. Deleted comments may remain as placeholders under “[deleted]” to preserve reply threads. Other members’ contributions remain, and communities you created remain without you as their owner. Your votes, reports, community memberships, and notifications involving your account are also removed. Deleting your account does not remove copies or quotations that other people have shared.

Reporting and moderation

Use the report controls to flag content that breaks these rules. Moderators may remove content, lock discussions, or restrict participation for violations. Serious or repeated violations may lead to account restrictions. Do not evade moderation actions.

For concerns about a moderation decision, rights infringement, or a site error, contact us with the relevant page link and details so we can review the issue.

Protecting the service

Do not attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, bypass security or access restrictions, or disrupt the site. Third-party charts, linked websites, and data may carry their own terms. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement or grant you redistribution rights.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the site evolves. This page shows the date of the latest revision. If you have a question about these terms, contact TickerStat.
