Ameren outlines major generation and storage expansion for rising power demand
Ameren ($AEE) Missouri updated its 20-year resource plan to accommodate electricity demand, including signed agreements covering 2.8 gigawatts of aggregate large-load requirements by 2030. Near-term proposals include 2.4 gigawatts of battery storage by 2030, 1.9 gigawatts of simple-cycle gas generation by 2029 and 2.1 gigawatts of combined-cycle gas generation by 2031.
