Aeluma reports wider annual loss as spending and cash reserves rise

Aeluma ($ALMU) reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $4.5 million, compared with $4.7 million a year earlier, while its net loss widened to $9.2 million from $3 million. Fourth-quarter revenue fell to approximately $0.6 million from $1.3 million, and the quarterly loss increased to about $4 million from $0.9 million. The results reflect a larger spending base as the company develops its photonics business.

Cash reached approximately $56 million, supported in part by $20.1 million of net proceeds from at-the-market share sales during the quarter. That financing strengthens liquidity but is not operating revenue or internally generated cash flow. The company continues investing in its technology and manufacturing capabilities. Earlier grant and partnership announcements are background rather than additional newly disclosed contracts in this earnings update.
