Amigo produces 10kg of gold in August and targets further plant commissioning in Q4

Amigo Resources reported 10 kilograms of August gold production on 7 September 2026.

Current operations

The Mojimoto and Kabete gravity circuits in Tanzania are operational. All gold recovered so far has come from physical gravity concentration, with a startup bottleneck resolved and optimisation continuing.

Tailings are being stockpiled for planned secondary treatment.

Expansion programme

Grinding and crushing equipment is in transit. The expanded plant and chemical-leaching circuit are targeted for commissioning in early Q4 2026, subject to installation and metallurgical performance.

The fact that current production uses no chemical reagents should not be interpreted as a permanent description of the planned process: the next phase includes chemical leaching.

What follows

The company targets regular reporting of production, physical sales and revenue from October.

Today's production figure does not establish how much gold has been sold, the realised selling price or operating profit. The next tests are stable throughput, recovery rates, equipment reliability, power supply and cash receipts from actual sales.
