Qualcomm–Amazon AI chip deal: up to $60 billion in potential purchases

Qualcomm ($QCOM) disclosed an agreement with AWS covering multiple generations of AI inference chips and optical interconnects. The terms envisage up to $60 billion in potential Amazon ($AMZN) purchases and warrants for 25 million Qualcomm shares at $161.26 each. Warrant vesting depends on purchase volumes, so the $60 billion figure is not guaranteed revenue. The agreement was signed before its public disclosure.
