Acuity agrees $675 million purchase of data-center monitoring specialist Parameter
Acuity ($AYI) agreed to acquire Parameter Technologies for $675 million, adding leak detection, environmental monitoring and battery monitoring products used in data centers and other critical facilities. Parameter would join Distech Controls within Acuity Intelligent Spaces. The acquisition would extend Acuity’s controls portfolio into systems that help operators detect leaks and protect equipment as liquid cooling becomes more widely used.
