Big Technologies lifts its outlook while separate litigation remains unresolved
Big Technologies ($BIG-LSE) reported first-half revenue of £26.9 million, up from £24.8 million, and adjusted EBITDA of £14.2 million, an increase of 14%. Management expects full-year performance marginally above consensus forecasts of £51.1 million in revenue and £25.3 million in adjusted EBITDA. Cash stood at £67.1 million after payments relating to an earlier Buddi settlement.
A separate announcement said mediation in the Sara Murray litigation ended without a settlement and the case continues. That unresolved dispute should not be confused with the Buddi settlement already reflected in cash movements. The operating update indicates improved earnings expectations, while the litigation release preserves an important uncertainty; neither establishes the eventual financial outcome or legal liability in the ongoing proceedings.
