BIKE24 raises sales guidance but trims the top of its profit range
BIKE24 ($BIKE) lifted its annual revenue outlook to €345–360 million from €316–332 million, reflecting stronger growth than previously expected. However, it narrowed adjusted EBITDA guidance to €16–18 million from €16–20 million. The sales upgrade therefore comes with a lower upper limit for expected operating earnings, rather than a matching profit upgrade.
The retailer said its international expansion is growing strongly but carries a lower contribution margin. Higher costs, more price-sensitive customers and a larger share of lower-margin electronics are also affecting the sales mix. Management is maintaining its growth strategy while adjusting expectations for the profitability of that growth. The figures highlight a distinction between faster revenue expansion and improved earnings conversion; neither automatically implies the other.
