CBRE agrees Onnec purchase with £460 million upfront and conditional earnout

CBRE ($CBRE) has agreed to acquire data-centre infrastructure specialist Onnec for an initial £460 million in cash, with up to £300 million more payable if specified growth thresholds are met. Onnec employs approximately 800 people and operates across Europe and Asia-Pacific. The deal would broaden CBRE’s critical-infrastructure capabilities in those regions and complement its existing US operations in a growing market for data-centre development and support.

Onnec is expected to generate approximately £370 million of revenue and more than £50 million of core EBITDA in 2027. CBRE anticipates immediate core earnings-per-share accretion after completion, but those figures are forecasts rather than achieved contributions. Closing is expected around year-end and remains subject to customary regulatory approvals. The maximum earnout is not guaranteed consideration, and the agreement does not mean CBRE already owns the business.
