Computacenter lifts annual profit floor as committed product orders reach £12.6 billion
Computacenter ($CCC-LSE) now expects adjusted pretax profit of at least £425 million for 2026 after third-quarter trading exceeded its expectations. That compares with company-compiled analyst consensus of £387.1 million. Its committed product order backlog reached £12.6 billion at the end of September, up from £9.3 billion at June-end, supported by demand from large cloud operators and specialist cloud providers in North America and the UK.
Technology sourcing and professional services drove growth, while managed-services revenue declined. The stronger order position and a positive start to the fourth quarter underpin the higher forecast. The backlog represents non-cancellable customer orders matched by vendor purchase orders for delivery within 12 months, measured on a gross invoicing basis; it is not recognized revenue or profit. The trading information remains unaudited, and the annual profit figure is guidance.
