Contango repays investor loans and outlines potential royalty cash flow
Contango Holdings ($CGO) confirmed repayment of all its investor loans following its previously announced £5 million subscription. The company said its remaining resources provide working capital through the middle of 2027. The update confirms use of financing already raised, rather than announcing another £5 million capital injection.
Management also expects approximately $2 million of royalty income before year end. It said receipt could support a maiden dividend, but no dividend amount, record date or payment date has been declared. The expected royalty should not be presented as cash already received. The financial significance is the removal of the specified investor-loan balances and a potential future income stream, with shareholder distributions still conditional on subsequent developments.
