Fastly and Comcast integrate edge technology to improve streaming delivery
Fastly ($FSLY) and Comcast ($CMCSA) announced a partnership that embeds Fastly’s programmable edge software into Comcast’s distributed network. The deployment uses Comcast’s network of more than 200 edge-compute centers, bringing content closer to Xfinity customers.
