Corcept reports early ovarian-cancer activity from a three-drug Lifyorli regimen

Corcept ($CORT) reported Phase 2 BELLA results for Lifyorli combined with nab-paclitaxel and bevacizumab in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Among 95 patients in the single-arm study, the tumor response rate was 59% and median investigator-assessed progression-free survival was 7.2 months. Median overall survival had not been reached; 88% of patients were alive at six months.

The findings support further evaluation of adding bevacizumab to Corcept’s approved Lifyorli and nab-paclitaxel regimen. However, BELLA had no randomized control group, so comparisons with the separate ROSELLA trial cannot establish the added drug’s benefit. Common adverse events included low blood-cell counts, nausea, fatigue and peripheral neuropathy. Corcept reported no new safety signals and expects to present complete results at a medical conference in 2027. The triplet is not approved.
