Crane agrees to acquire US water-pump business for $240 million
Crane ($CR) agreed to acquire Trillium Flow Technologies’ US pump business for approximately $240 million. The purchase adds Floway, Wemco, Roto-Jet and WSP, brands serving mainly municipal water and wastewater applications. The business expects about $115 million in annual revenue, and the agreed price represents roughly 14.6 times estimated 2026 adjusted EBITDA.
Crane intends to place the operation within its Process Flow Technologies segment. Its installed equipment base brings recurring demand for service, repairs, retrofits and replacements, alongside new pump sales. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter, subject to approvals and other closing conditions. The agreement covers Trillium’s US pump operation, rather than the whole Trillium group, and the expected financial contribution remains prospective.
