CRISM reports higher development spending and a £1.41 million loss
CRISM Therapeutics ($CRTX) reported a first-half loss of £1.413 million, compared with £0.930 million a year earlier. Administrative expenses reached £1.52 million, including £956,000 of research and development spending. Operating cash outflow increased to £1.48 million, while a £2.745 million equity raise helped lift half-year cash to £2.269 million.
The company’s more recent net cash update was £1.9 million. Its ChemoSeed program is recruiting for an open-label Phase 2 glioblastoma study, beginning with dose escalation before evaluating efficacy in newly diagnosed patients. The recruitment milestone and grant awards form development context; they are not newly reported efficacy results. The company also corrected a previously omitted £50,000 invoice in its prior-year accounts.
