Christie Group brings Christie & Co's global managing director onto the board
Christie Group appointed Darren Bond as an executive director with immediate effect on 7 September 2026.
Internal succession and experience
Bond has worked at Christie & Co since 2001 and has been its global managing director since 2020. His earlier responsibilities included capital markets and valuation services, spanning brokerage, consultancy and commercial-property assignments.
The appointment brings an established operating leader into the listed group's boardroom. It is an internal addition, rather than recruitment of a new group CEO or an independent director.
Shareholder implications
Bond's beneficial shareholding is 0.41%, as disclosed in the release. His operational background is relevant to the group's professional and financial services activities across property-intensive sectors.
The key follow-up is execution: transaction activity, service demand and the conversion of revenue into profit and cash. Today's board appointment does not change trading guidance or provide a new financial result.
