Disney creates an enterprise technology role to coordinate AI and platforms
Disney ($DIS) appointed Karandeep Anand to a newly created senior vice president and enterprise chief technology officer position, effective October 2. Anand, currently chief executive of Character.AI, will report to Disney chief executive Josh D’Amaro. The role is intended to coordinate enterprise technology across the company’s businesses. Responsibilities include infrastructure, data and AI platforms, and product engineering. Disney also expects some technical staff from Character.AI to join.
