Dover lifts earnings as orders outpace shipments across its businesses

Dover ($DOV) reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.23 billion, up 8%, including 7% organic growth. Earnings from continuing operations rose to $337 million, with GAAP earnings of $2.50 per share and adjusted earnings of $2.88. Adjusted earnings increased 10%, supported by growth across the diversified industrial group.

Orders exceeded shipments in each of Dover’s five segments, extending its backlog and supporting management’s expectations for future deliveries. The company forecast full-year 2026 adjusted earnings of $10.60–$10.75 per share and revenue growth of 7%–8%, including 5%–6% organic growth. Demand linked to AI power infrastructure was among the supporting factors. The order position improves visibility, but revenue recognition still depends on production and delivery, and the full-year 2026 figures remain forecasts.
