Deutsche Telekom and Porsche SE back DTCP’s €455 million defense fund closing

DTCP announced a first closing of €455 million in commitments for its defense investment fund. Deutsche Telekom ($DTE-XETRA) and Porsche SE ($PAH3) are among the participating investors, alongside institutional backers. The fund focuses on European defense-related technology, including autonomous systems, cybersecurity, secure communications, space and artificial intelligence.

DTCP identified Six Robotics and Kraken Technology as its first two investments, with another transaction in progress. The €455 million figure represents total fund commitments, not an amount invested individually by either listed company or revenue generated by them. Their separate contribution sizes were not disclosed. The news creates an investment-exposure link for Deutsche Telekom and Porsche SE, rather than announcing a defense operating-business acquisition by either company.
