Dexcom raises revenue and margin targets and authorizes a $1 billion buyback
Dexcom ($DXCM) lifted its 2026 sales forecast to $5.20–$5.25 billion, raising the midpoint, and increased its adjusted operating-margin target to approximately 24%. Third-quarter 2026 revenue increased 11% to $1.34 billion, with US growth of 14% outpacing international growth of 5%. Reported operating income reached $327.2 million, equivalent to 24.3% of sales, an improvement of 4.2 percentage points from a year earlier.
The glucose-monitoring company also authorized repurchases of up to $1 billion of its shares. That authorization permits future purchases and does not establish that the money has already been spent. Quarterly GAAP net income was $275.1 million, down from $283.8 million despite stronger operating profit; adjusted EPS was $0.73. The company held $1.82 billion in cash and investments, supporting investment in capacity alongside potential shareholder returns.
