Elbit wins roughly $200 million of airborne-system contracts in Asia-Pacific

Elbit Systems ($ESLT) received contracts worth approximately $200 million in aggregate from an undisclosed Asia-Pacific country for airborne surveillance, targeting and training equipment. Work is scheduled over as long as five years. The package includes SPECTRO 12 multispectral sensors for helicopters, designed to combine target detection and tracking with precision targeting in a compact payload.

The contracts also cover support and upgrades for airborne live-training systems, together with head-up displays for aircraft. They extend Elbit’s equipment and support activities across both operational missions and pilot training. The announcement describes awarded contracts rather than a potential tender, but the $200 million represents their combined value over the performance period, not revenue earned immediately. The customer’s identity, payment timetable and expected margins were not disclosed.
