Eton begins U.S. commercialization of IMPAVIDO under exclusive rights
Eton Pharmaceuticals ($ETON) launched IMPAVIDO capsules through its U.S. rare-disease commercial organization after obtaining exclusive domestic commercialization rights. The medicine contains miltefosine and treats specified forms of leishmaniasis in eligible adults and adolescents. Distribution is centralized through Anovo Specialty Pharmacy, with outpatient access, hospital consignment and coordination for urgent treatment needs.
The launch brings another therapy into Eton’s operating infrastructure and extends its patient-support program, including zero copay for eligible commercially insured patients and expanded patient-assistance arrangements. This is a commercial relaunch of an existing medicine, not a newly announced FDA approval. The company did not provide a launch revenue forecast. Use remains subject to the approved indication and important safety restrictions, including the boxed warning concerning embryo-fetal toxicity.
