Faraday completes robotics business transfer to listed FF EAI platform
Faraday Future ($FFAI) disclosed completion of the transfer of its robotics business to Nasdaq-listed FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem ($FFR). The buyer will operate the robotics activities, while Faraday remains listed under FFAI. YT Jia and Jerry Wang will lead both companies as chief executive and executive chairman respectively. Faraday described its continuing transition toward robotaxi operations, intelligent cabins and Physical AI investments.
The robotics business issued its first annual guidance, targeting approximately 2,000 robot sales and shipments in 2026 with a positive unit gross margin. It expects more than 300 units during October, which would take cumulative shipments above 1,100. Those figures are management expectations. The closing gives the robotics operation a separate listed platform, while execution, funding and the benefits of Faraday’s retained interest remain uncertain.
