Molten Ventures forecasts higher asset value after strong portfolio realisations

Molten Ventures ($GROW-LSE) expects net asset value per share of approximately 869 pence for the first half of fiscal 2026/27, up 14% from 760 pence at March-end. Gross portfolio value is estimated at £1.695 billion, an 11% increase. A £244 million fair-value uplift, excluding currency movements, reflected stronger valuations in investments including ICEYE and Revolut, partly offset by markdowns elsewhere.

The venture-capital investor generated about £109 million in cash from realisations during the six months, compared with £62 million a year earlier, and invested £44 million. Group cash reached £76 million. Its Growth Fund achieved an initial £175 million close against a £350 million target. Separately, Molten added £10 million to its buyback programme, available after the existing £15 million tranche is used. Portfolio values remain unaudited estimates; neither the target fundraising nor the additional repurchases are completed.
