HASI and Invenergy close an investment partnership covering 2.7 GW
HASI ($HASI) and Invenergy expanded their investment partnership with a portfolio of ten projects totaling 2.7 gigawatts across seven US states and six power markets. About 850 megawatts are already operating, with the remainder expected to enter service by the first quarter of 2027. The projects have long-term power-purchase agreements with investment-grade counterparties.
HASI’s equity investment is structured to be funded as projects reach commercial operation. Invenergy retains majority ownership and responsibility for operating the assets. The companies did not disclose the investment amount. The agreement therefore provides a defined project portfolio and funding framework, but does not mean all 2.7 gigawatts are already producing electricity or that HASI owns the projects outright. Construction completion and the timing of capital deployment remain relevant to the investment’s progress.
