Helios Towers raises buyback authorization to $175 million
Helios Towers ($HTWS) increased its share-repurchase authorization by $100 million, taking the total program from $75 million to $175 million. It also extended the expected completion date by one year, to the end of 2027. Repurchased shares will be canceled, reducing the number of shares outstanding as purchases are executed.
The existing buyback will continue under previously announced arrangements. Additional broker mandates are expected to be established in tranches, with further details to follow. The expansion supports the company’s longer-term target of more than $400 million in shareholder distributions through buybacks and dividends by 2030. That target is not a newly completed payment, and the $175 million authorization is a ceiling rather than confirmation that the company has already spent the full amount.
