Exchange trading and data services lift Intercontinental Exchange’s earnings

Intercontinental Exchange ($ICE) reported third-quarter 2026 net revenue of $2.77 billion, up 15%, with diluted earnings of $1.67 per share and adjusted EPS of $2.02. Both earnings measures increased 18% from a year earlier. Exchange revenue advanced 22% to $1.54 billion, while fixed-income and data-services revenue rose 9% to $674 million. The figures indicate that trading activity and recurring information services both contributed to growth.

Mortgage-technology revenue increased a more modest 4% to $549 million. Its operating profit fell to $13 million from $22 million, showing that revenue gains did not translate into stronger profitability across every business. At group level, the GAAP operating margin was 51%, versus 61% on an adjusted basis. Revenue is stated after transaction-based expenses, and adjusted earnings exclude specified costs rather than representing reported net income.
