Incyte raises sales guidance while acquisition accounting drives a quarterly loss
Incyte ($INCY) raised its 2026 product-sales outlook to $5.21–$5.30 billion from $5.13–$5.26 billion following a 14% increase in third-quarter 2026 total revenue to $1.56 billion. Product sales reached $1.32 billion. Opzelura grew 36% to $255 million and the hematology and oncology portfolio rose 38% to $235 million, strengthening businesses beyond Jakafi, whose sales increased 4% to $827 million.
The company nevertheless recorded a $784.8 million net loss, mainly reflecting a $1.23 billion acquired research-and-development charge associated with Vega Therapeutics. The raised Opzelura annual forecast also includes a previously disclosed $246 million one-time Medicaid rebate settlement benefit. These accounting items matter when assessing recurring profitability and underlying sales momentum. The combination leaves the commercial trajectory stronger, while acquisition accounting complicates comparisons of bottom-line performance.
