INNIO books 450-megawatt order for North American data centers

INNIO ($INIO) secured a 450-megawatt order from an unnamed US energy company to supply power equipment for next-generation data centers. The order was booked in the third quarter and covers containerized Jenbacher J624 gas-engine systems. Deliveries are scheduled through 2028, supporting on-site power generation for North American facilities.

The systems are intended to provide primary power behind the electricity meter, rather than serving only as occasional emergency backup. The announcement adds a firm equipment order to INNIO’s data-center business, but the company did not disclose its monetary value. The 450-megawatt figure measures generating capacity, not revenue, and scheduled deliveries should not be confused with capacity already operating. Customer identity and the order’s expected earnings contribution were not provided.
