Iofina doubles adjusted EBITDA as iodine production rises
Iofina ($IOF)’s first-half adjusted EBITDA increased 103% to $6.6 million as revenue rose 7% to $31.3 million. Crystalline iodine production reached 393.3 tonnes, up 29%, while operating profit increased to $4.9 million. The combination of higher output and stronger earnings materially improved the group’s first-half financial performance.
Net cash stood at $7.2 million, compared with net debt of $0.8 million a year earlier. Operating cash generation funded $5.8 million of capital expenditure. Management maintained expectations for second-half production of 460–485 tonnes and said full-year performance remained on track. Previously announced plant expansion remains part of the growth plan, but the new information here is the financial result and reaffirmed production outlook, not a separate factory announcement.
