Ipsos appoints Trinh Tu to lead the UK and Ireland business

Ipsos announced Trinh Tu's appointment as UK and Ireland CEO on 7 September 2026.

Leadership responsibilities

Tu succeeds Kelly Beaver in the regional role, reports directly to Beaver as Ipsos CEO and joins the Executive Management Committee.

She has more than 30 years at Ipsos, most recently as managing director of Public Affairs and a member of the UK management board. Earlier responsibilities included business growth and employment, welfare and skills research.

Why this matters

The appointment places an experienced internal leader in charge of a major regional business while linking that operation directly to group leadership.

It should not be confused with a replacement of the group's CEO: Beaver remains the executive to whom Tu reports.

Today's announcement contains no revised regional revenue target, margin objective or group earnings guidance. The next substantive evidence will be regional performance and delivery of the company's strategy under the new leadership.
