Journeo’s revenue jumps 53% as acquisitions expand its business

Journeo ($JNEO) reported first-half revenue of £37.6 million, up 53%, as organic growth combined with contributions from acquired businesses. Gross profit increased 57% to £14.5 million, while underlying profit rose 16% to approximately £3 million. Diluted earnings per share increased to 13.60 pence from 12.51 pence. Its infrastructure-protection business contributed £10.6 million of revenue during its first full half-year within the group.

Management retained its full-year outlook in line with market expectations and reported a £200 million sales-opportunity pipeline, compared with £80 million a year earlier. That pipeline represents potential business, not contracted revenue. Cash stood at £12.6 million, down from £18 million following the earlier £10.7 million acquisition of Crime and Fire Defence Systems. Integrated Services remained weaker, highlighting an uneven performance across divisions.
