Kistos places $50 million bond tap to expand liquidity

Kistos ($KIST) placed an additional $50 million of senior secured bonds under its existing issue due in May 2030. The debt carries a 9.875% coupon and was priced at 101.10% of face value, corresponding to a 9.5% yield. The transaction would increase the amount outstanding under the bond issue to $350 million, with proceeds intended for general corporate purposes and continued growth.

The energy company expects liquidity of $250–300 million after settlement, alongside cash generation from its unhedged production portfolio. It reported pro forma EBITDA of $280 million for the first nine months of 2026. Settlement is expected around November 6, subject to customary conditions, so the placement does not yet establish receipt of the proceeds. Executive chairman Andrew Austin subscribed for $1.5 million of the new bonds.
