Nauticus signs nonbinding outline for up to $50 million equity investment

Nauticus Robotics ($KITT) signed a nonbinding letter of intent with an unnamed strategic investor for an equity investment of up to $50 million. The proposed funding would support the company’s development and commercialization activities, but the letter does not create a binding obligation for the investor to provide capital. Final structure and terms have not been agreed.

Completion would require due diligence, definitive documents and applicable approvals. Depending on the eventual arrangement, the financing could dilute existing shareholders or affect control of the company. Nauticus’s board is considering the engagement of an independent financial adviser. The announcement describes a potential source of capital, not a completed fundraising or confirmation that the company has an additional $50 million available.
