Lucid and Bolt target at least 25,000 autonomous vehicles in Europe
Lucid ($LCID) and Bolt announced a partnership to develop and deploy autonomous mobility across Europe, targeting at least 25,000 vehicles. The plan combines Lucid’s upcoming midsize electric-vehicle platform with NVIDIA’s Hyperion autonomous-driving architecture and Bolt’s ride-hailing network. It gives Lucid a proposed commercial use for its future platform beyond privately owned vehicles.
The announcement sets a deployment ambition rather than confirming that the full target is a binding vehicle order or that driverless service is already operating. Vehicle development, system validation and applicable regulatory requirements remain important steps before large-scale deployment. The companies did not disclose a financial value or a specific revenue contribution to Lucid or NVIDIA. Bolt’s separate, broader autonomous-fleet ambition is background and should not be counted as additional Lucid orders.
