Lockheed Martin raises earnings and cash-flow targets after sales growth
Lockheed Martin ($LMT) increased its full-year 2026 outlook after third-quarter 2026 sales rose 11% to $20.71 billion. Net earnings were approximately $1.8 billion, or $7.97 per share, compared with $6.95 per share a year earlier. All four business segments recorded higher sales volumes, while operating cash flow reached $3.4 billion and free cash flow was $3.0 billion.
The defense group now expects full-year 2026 sales of $80–$82 billion and earnings of $30.35–$30.75 per share. Its free-cash-flow target increased to $7.8–$8.0 billion from $7.0–$7.2 billion. Backlog reached $292 billion, providing a larger base of future work. That backlog represents orders to be executed over time, rather than revenue already recognized or cash immediately available.
