Legrand raises growth and margin targets on data-centre demand

Legrand ($LR) has raised its medium-term ambitions as data-centre demand exceeds its earlier assumptions. The electrical-infrastructure supplier now targets average annual organic revenue growth of 6%–8% for 2027–2030, versus its previous 3%–5% range for 2025–2030. It also seeks an average adjusted operating margin of 21%–22%, up from approximately 20%, according to Reuters.

The shift implies a stronger growth and profitability profile, but the comparison spans different forecast periods and should not be presented as a like-for-like increase for a single year. These are management targets, not achieved results. From an investor’s perspective, delivering both would require the expansion in higher-growth activities to translate into sustained revenue and operating efficiency, rather than demand alone.
