Lattice adds post-quantum control chips and AI-assisted development tools
Lattice ($LSCC) introduced the Mach-N2 family of programmable chips for system control and security. Built on its Nexus 2 platform, the devices combine integrated flash memory, a hardware root of trust and post-quantum cryptography that the company describes as compliant with CNSA 2.0 requirements. Target applications include computing, communications and industrial infrastructure.
Alongside the hardware, Lattice launched Prompt, an AI-assisted development tool that connects natural-language requests to its design software, documentation and knowledge base. It works with developers’ chosen language models and agentic coding environments through Model Context Protocol. The releases broaden both Lattice’s security offering and its developer workflow. They do not disclose a new customer order, contract value or revenue forecast, and claimed productivity or performance benefits remain company-reported rather than independently established outcomes.
