Lumen plans to move its stock listing from NYSE to Nasdaq
Lumen ($LUMN)’s board approved a voluntary transfer of its common-stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq. Subject to customary conditions, NYSE trading would end after the October 5 session and Nasdaq trading would begin on October 6. The common shares are expected to retain the LUMN ticker.
The move also covers two long-dated Qwest Corporation note issues, which are expected to keep their existing CTGG and CTHH symbols. Lumen said shareholders will not need to take action and that the transfer is not expected to affect operations, financial condition or reporting obligations. This is a change in trading venue, not a new public offering, a share cancellation or a completed corporate restructuring.
