MEMSCAP more than triples operating profit as sensor sales grow

MEMSCAP ($MEMS) reported unaudited third-quarter 2026 revenue of €3.333 million, up 27.1%, as all three of its markets expanded. Aerospace sales increased 22.8%, medical sales 80.1% and optical communications sales 7.6%. Operating income rose to €498,000 from €151,000, while gross margin improved to 44.2% from 40.4%. Adjusted EBITDA reached €552,000, an increase of approximately 59%.

Net income rose 66.4% to €293,000 despite a €205,000 financial loss linked to currency movements. For the first nine months of 2026, revenue increased 17.2% to €10.272 million and operating income reached €1.009 million. Operating costs grew substantially more slowly than quarterly sales, explaining the stronger profit conversion. Management maintained its expectation of profitable growth for 2026, while development of engine-control and fluidic-systems programmes remains a source of future, rather than already realised, growth.
