Wendel grows asset-management fees as portfolio valuations recover

Wendel ($MF-EURONEXT) reported management fees and other revenue of €344 million in the first nine months of 2026, up 41.3% as reported and 10% at constant exchange rates and scope. The gap reflects acquisitions and longer consolidation periods. Assets under management reached €48.7 billion, including €37.7 billion generating fees, with fee-paying assets 9% above their year-earlier level.

Fully diluted net asset value rose 5.1% during the third quarter to €167 per share, helped principally by higher valuation multiples and listed-investment prices. That increase is a valuation measure rather than realised operating profit. Wendel expects approximately €200 million of 2026 fee-related earnings on a pro forma basis, assuming a full-year contribution from Committed Advisors and constant currencies. Its loan-to-value ratio was 9.5% at the end of September.
