mF International approves exit from legacy trading software business
mF International ($MFI)’s board approved winding down and dissolving its legacy financial trading solutions business, concentrating the company on Bitcoin Cash treasury holdings, self-mining and other digital asset activities. The plan entails deregistering m-Finance and two subsidiaries and disposing of their remaining assets. Management expects sales of the residual fixed assets and domain names to finish by the end of October 2026.
The planned exit would remove the company’s original trading software operation from its future business mix and direct resources toward its newer cryptocurrency strategy. Disposal proceeds, liquidation expenses and final taxes have not been quantified in the announcement; the full financial effect is to appear in the fiscal 2026 audited consolidated accounts. A separate Bermuda insurance-license application remains pending, so the proposed digital asset-denominated life insurance business is still a development initiative.
