Monolithic Power’s data-center demand drives a sharp increase in quarterly sales
Monolithic Power Systems ($MPWR) generated third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.20 billion, up 63% from a year earlier and 23% sequentially. Enterprise-data revenue increased 165% to $506.7 million, while communications revenue more than doubled to $187.4 million. GAAP earnings were $5.51 per diluted share and adjusted earnings were $8.19, compared with adjusted earnings of $4.73 a year earlier. Consumer revenue, however, declined 12% annually.
For fourth-quarter 2026, the company projects revenue of $1.315–1.385 billion. It said available capacity can now support more than $6 billion of annual revenue and expects capacity supporting $8 billion by the second half of 2027. Those figures describe manufacturing capability, not contracted sales. The expansion reflects rising demand for power-management products used in AI servers, optical modules and network equipment.
