Marsh prices €1.2 billion of bonds across six- and ten-year maturities
Marsh ($MRSH) priced a €1.2 billion senior-note offering in two equal tranches. One €600 million issue carries a 4.250% coupon and matures in 2032; the other pays 4.625% and matures in 2036. The company expects the offering to close on October 27, subject to customary conditions, and intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
The transaction provides a planned source of long-dated euro funding while adding future interest and principal obligations. Pricing does not mean the cash has already been received, and the €1.2 billion headline is the face amount rather than net proceeds after financing costs. The announcement does not identify a specific acquisition funded by the issue. The two maturities spread the eventual principal repayments across different years, while the fixed coupons establish the stated interest terms if the bonds are issued.
