Metlen signs five-year LNG supply agreement with Petronas

Metlen ($MTLN) agreed a five-year LNG supply arrangement with Petronas subsidiary PETCO Trading UK, beginning in 2027. The agreement covers six cargoes annually, equivalent to approximately 0.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Supplies will come from Petronas’ Atlantic portfolio and support Metlen’s activities in Greece and Southeastern Europe.

The arrangement broadens the company’s gas-sourcing options and adds flexibility to its regional supply portfolio. It is a procurement agreement, not a sale of Metlen assets or the commissioning of a new gas-production facility. Neither the contract’s total value nor its expected margin contribution was disclosed. The stated volume describes planned annual supply under the agreement, not an immediate addition to gas already delivered.
