Micron competitor CXMT begins production on a denser memory platform

Chinese memory maker CXMT said its fifth-generation DRAM platform has entered mass production. It introduced two 24-gigabit LPDDR5X products offering 50% higher capacity. These are CXMT's production and product claims, not independently verified performance results.

Micron ($MU) is included as a competing memory supplier, rather than a party to the announcement. The development adds competitive context for MU but establishes neither lost Micron orders nor a change in its financial guidance. Production scale and customer adoption remain important for assessing the commercial impact.
