Imerys raises its annual earnings target after margin improvement
Imerys ($NK) increased its 2026 adjusted EBITDA forecast to €570–590 million from €550–580 million after third-quarter adjusted EBITDA rose 14.5% as reported to €160 million. Revenue reached €884 million, up 7.0% as reported and 2.9% at constant currencies and business scope. The quarterly adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 18.1% from 16.9%, supported by pricing and cost control.
The stronger sales comparison included €23 million from recent acquisitions and an €11 million currency benefit. Underlying volume growth was only 0.2%, with price increases contributing 2.7%. Nine-month attributable net income nevertheless declined to €92 million from €110 million, reflecting items including restructuring costs and higher financing expenses. The upgraded outlook assumes no material deterioration in operating conditions, with inflation and weak European demand continuing to constrain the business.
