Novocure raises annual revenue and EBITDA targets as patient numbers grow
Novocure ($NVCR) lifted its 2026 revenue forecast to $736–$743 million from $710–$725 million and its adjusted EBITDA outlook to $24–$34 million from $0–$15 million. Third-quarter 2026 revenue increased 16% to $193.4 million, supported by 19% growth in active patients using its Tumor Treating Fields therapies. The company counted 5,260 active patients worldwide at quarter-end, with its established glioblastoma treatment remaining the largest contributor.
Gross margin improved to 77% from 73%, while adjusted EBITDA reached $15.7 million. The company still recorded a $10.4 million net loss, illustrating the difference between its adjusted operating measure and bottom-line profitability. Revenue included $4.4 million of one-time benefits from higher claims-approval rates in the United States and Germany. Those benefits qualify the quarter’s growth, while the annual targets remain prospective.
