Nvidia expands quantum software as Infleqtion reports error-correction progress

Nvidia ($NVDA) introduced CUDA-Q Logical, an open-source orchestration layer for designing and testing fault-tolerant quantum applications. The software lets researchers explore combinations of algorithms, error-correction codes and hardware architectures. Infleqtion ($INFQ) is among the early users integrating the platform with its quantum error-correction research tools.

Infleqtion said its work constructed and validated a code using approximately six physical data qubits per logical qubit, improving code rate about fivefold against the specific surface-code comparison. That is a research result, not a claim that a complete commercial machine already achieves the same total hardware reduction. The company is extending the workflow toward physical execution, noise modeling and decoder benchmarking. Neither announcement disclosed a new contract value.
